Do you need to change the air in your tyres for fresh air each year in the spring?
Answers:
Hey, blondie!! Are you serious?
I have never done that in 45 yrs driving.
Why would you need to?
hello?? please don't tell me you are blonde! what a foolish question. why don't you just call your local tire place and ask them!!
No - that would mean you would have to empty the ash tray even if it had not been used.
best to get it done at a tyre shop so they can open up the tyre and put a bit of smelly stuff in there aswell, rof lmao
No. Of course not.
No, you should rotate them every 6 months.. You should check the air frequently
Why don't you try Helium? That should give your tyres a lift!
no you do not some one is messing with you
yes, every time.
I would also recommending you change the air if you ever to to the city for a trip. Its much better to have clean country air in your tyres, you get better MPG
Side question: is the biggest pull on Yahoo Answers reading all the answers from people who just don't get it ?
YES!
Most people dont know about this so what you've asked is actually a very good question. The carbon molecules inside the tires actually become flat from the continual revolving of the wheels. So the fresh air into the tires actually increases grip on the road.
I suggest you change your air in your tires about 4 times a year.
And while they're changing the air in the tires have them check the muffler bearings, too and blinker fluid. lol
I don't get it, What's the punchline?
Yeah in 4 years have Da Hulk do it .. he's got zero best answers
No but you should periodically check that they are at the correct pressure ( Check when the tyres are cold) I.e not after a long journey.
Yes..thats right and when you've finished doin that pop along to the fragrant tyre spot and the'll put on a lavender or rose coating for you..
absolutely.make sure though that it's mountain air from the Andes and that it is from an elevation of 9,736 feet exactly above sea level.
Oh yes! Further more fill them up and deflate them several times. You need to get nice clean, fresh air into them for the coming year ahead...and don't forget to plant your old spark plugs in about eight inches of good quality, moisture retaining soil, for a fantastic show of fireworks in November!!
YES. If you are to drive in mountains you should use mountain air & if below sea-level is where you do most of your motoring you may have to import fresh air from Israel, which is expensive. The good news is that there are no taxes onair from Israel. Just make sure that the supplier completes an EUR1 document.
Pretorian, thats now changed to EC 11/b
Yes absolutely, you also have to change the vacuum in all the light bulbs at least once a year to ensure their brightness.
Shall I tell you what carbolic soap is used for?? I'd better not.
i cannot believe anyone has asked this lol course u dont need to change the air every year!!
The hulk is right except the molecules do not get flat, they get retarted first before they get flat. The more miles you drive the more often you should change it.
no i think you need to change the air in you?
Yes.
I kep a bag of air in the trunk just in case the molecules go flat. its just next to the bag of bubbles for my spirit level.
no u dont need to ok
Yes of course, and don't forget to top up the headlight fluid
No but others brought up a good point. as you travel from different areas, such as the mountain to the sea shore and even in different climates, you will want to get the air completely removed and replaced to compensate for the molecular size of the air molecules as well as the different pressure properties of the air and the moisture content as you will not want sea shore air which is moisture laden to be in the tire when in the mountains as it may cause ice to form inside the tire and possibly tear up the inside of your tires to shreads.
Actually what is better is to change tires from colder climates to warmer climates due to the molecular changes that cold weather tires are designed for that the warm weather tires are not made for..
no!!!!!!
yes ya need to put fresh air in ya tyres in spring to keep them cool and now ya should be thinking it's the time of the year to put some hot air in now to keep them warm as it is coming up to winter. happy motoring my friend
