I believe that after the age of seventy we should have to pass a driving test each year to be able to keep our licenses. I know some people into their 90s that still have sharp minds and quick reflexes. More so than some of the young people on the road.

I think once you reach 68 you should have to take your driver's training every year or two to see if you should be allowed to drive still.

I've been saying for years that at retirement age, we should be required to have to renew driver's license every year. This should include testing. Some people DO NOT belong behind the wheel and the danger is they may not realize this for themselves.
I think that if you're past a certain age, say, retirement age or so, or in your 60s-70s, you should have to take your driving test at least once every 1-2 years. No offense.
I think everyone rgardless fo age should be made to take a mini test thing every 10 years, people get too many bad habits and become complacent, a point i made to my fella so many times before he crashed his car and died, just a little story to cheer u up!
i think you should have a drivin test at the age of 60, 70, 75, 85, and every year after that beacause i know some older people don't watch or pay attention or don't see or hear for nothing, also i think after a certain age if u have heart problems, stroke history or other medical problesm that would cause u to black out, pass out or any one of these other things u should be takin off the road i almost got hit oneday by and old woman who passed out at the wheel, i took my mustang GT into a ditch and i was so pissed off the police said she had a passed out at the wheel from the heat and i was like damn.so yea when u can't pass the medical test and driver's test then u shouldn't drive
It all depends on the physical condition of the person.Some people are not able to drive at 60 and others are 90 and are able to drive with no problems at all.So it all depends.I would suggest a yearly medical check up after 70 before the renewal of the driving license.
I think they should also include all males under 27 !!
That is the group causing the most carnage on the roads today!

Having driven at least 30,000 miles a year for 40 years I reckon that the more you drive the better you become ALWAYS assuming that your eyesight is ok and you are physically fit.. With lots of driving time behind you your reaction time is not as important as your experience will 1. drop your speed automatically as you get older and 2. you can "read" the road WELL ahead due to your previous years experience.
I reckon that the experienced driver is more likely to STOP driving well before some of the the less experienced people on the roads.
I think a driving licence should depend on ability, as long as you're safe, you keep your license. Others should never have been able to get a license - nothing to do with age.
I don't think there is a specific age since everyone is different. It should be the point at which you can no longer get over 45mph on the dual carridgeway and you forget when to indicate so consequently you do it ever time you go round a corner.
I sat be hind a little old lady the other day who was barely able to break 20 in a 30 limit and then didn't get above 35 once we got onto a national speed road. On top of this her lane disciplne was awful and she appeared oblivious to the 2 mile tailbakc following her as she pottered along during rush hour. At best it was inconsiderate, at worst incompetant.
Ask those ten people who got run over by an old person 3 years ago in Santa Monica if they're amused. Oh, wait, you can't -- they're DEAD.
(That old person was charged with 10 counts of manslaugther today, by the way. He confused the brake with the gas peddle.)
I think it's less about age, and more about how much you got left upstairs. I think once you reach a certain age, somewhere in your later 60's, they need to test people once a year, and BE SERIOUS ABOUT IT. They need to create a test that can actually gauge how able an old person is to drive, and if they fail the test, take away their liscence. It sucks for the old-timers, but better than killing innocent people.
In most cases I'd say around 18.
i think 80 years old is enough for driving after thats its risk to drive. but it also depends on medical reports but still after 80 years old no body stay healthy every body get weak so i think its must taken thier licence.my advice is to do not drive after 80 years old.
