I want to make a pick up truck?
i want to turn a estate car in to a custom pickup are there any web sites or books on ths subject and wot are the uk m.o.t requiermants for this project? am thinking of useing a BMW ser3 estate tour.

Nothing is impossible, but be prepared to spend BIG bucks. You're taking about FABRICATION. The level of quality of the job will be dependent upon the money you have, or are willing to spend.
So you are taking a piece of crap and making it into another piece of crap that you will get half way Thu and lose interest in.

try these guys below got some good help with mine at the forum turned a Toyota pick up into a 50's style ford after could not find one cheap enough, MOT regulations not sure did mine in Thailand and the biggest thing they were worried about was colour.

You might be better off to get an existing truck and customize it. It will save you both time and money.
