As a small business am i better off getting a new van on hp or leasing?

i wouoold have to say if you plan on having your buisness for a while and you make a good profit go ahead and buy an older but in shape van if you can afford if if not then go for the other option
I would say leasing as you have no maintenance costs to pay out. It depends on what sort of business it is and how much the van is being used. There are usually good deals for business.
I don't know what the tax implications will be with either option but if you lease it, you will not be responsible for road tax or maintenance of the vehicle and it is likely that if the van was off road for some reason, the hire company would be obliged to lend you another vehicle - important to keep on the road if you're in business yourself. Also once the model that you've leased has done x amount of miles, they swap it for a newer version, something you probably wouldn't be able to do if you owned it.
Whilst with HP you obviously will own the vehicle, the related costs to keep it on the road and depreciation would make leasing a more attractive option.
leasing for sure. it's a tax right off, and you can get a new one every year or two
Definitely leasing, no long term hassles to worry about.
Leasing is preferable. Can be wholly set against tax, HP only the interest can be used.
