I have a dent in my car!!?
Answers:
the dent may just pop right out with a little tap but your gonna have to have the back painted due to the crack in the paint.get it fixed before winter sets in as the salt and water off the road will make it a lot worse maybe even rust!itll cost you about 150 -200 quid from a reasonable bodyshop!you dont have to take it to the peugeot garage they will definitely charge you a lot more try to find a well established local painter!hope that helps
Check with your dealer's used car department. Find out who does their dent & chip repairs, get a written quote.
First find out if the dealership does their own repairs and doesn't sent it out to someone else. Find out what their warranty is on the repair. Also check with other well established body shops. Do not go to one that is fairly new as they may not be around for long.
If you ever wanted to trade it in in the future to the dealer, and they made an issue of the repair, you can alwasy say "you did it, so redo it right this time."
Why not visit a few body shops and get quotes? there are plenty in Plymouth.
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd?
you will need to have the dent knocked out by a panel beater and ive heard this is very exspensive you need to shop around.. if you go to the peurgoet garage first and get a quote they will probably be the most exspensive so you can then compare prices with other garages good luck hope this helps !!
I'd get a pal with silver metallic paint and a hammer to fix it. Its cheaper.
go to a local garage, they can pop a dent right out for you
you could do it your self. It just take a bit of thinking about. There are to ways. First. Get hold of one of those plumber sucker things. Dont no what they are realy called. Rubber suction thing with a stick on the end. Anyway. Place the suction end over the dent puch it in and the dent may pop out. Job done. It not. Drill a small hole in the middle of the dent. The screw in a screw about half way. The gently pull the screw out and hopefully the dent will pop out. Then take the screw out. Then just fill in the hole and paint over. Job done. Failing all the. Phone a mobile dent guy. let him do it. Glad to be of service. And these methods do work.
I fix dents and scratches for £20, I live in Johnstone (Scotland) so bring it here.
Take it to the panel beaters they will give you a quote.!
Get dentbusters or chips away to fix it, they do a good job. Main dealers are expensive. If you do not value your car too much then just get some touchup paint and use that to cover over any paint that has chipped off
Give Mick a ring at Ace Motors in Stoke Canon Nr Exeter. He was very helpful when I had an accident in my car, he got me a new headlight and bits the next day and fitted that day too and only charged me for the light and bits. If not have you thought about those dent pullers you can buy, I don't know how well they work but it might be worth a try.
there all rip off merchants.wait till some old biddy knocks your car and put it all on the insurance.
mobile dent repairers charge between 100 and 130 pound per panel howether many dents there are in that panel but the paint chip could be a problem as they probably won,t be able to do a paintless repair.
No need to go to a panel beater, you can do it yourself and save a fortune.
First use a gas blowtorch to heat the dented area up to red hot. This is to anneal the steel so its softer and easier to work. Try not to set fire to any fittings or electric cables. Then take a bloody great big hammer in one hand and a large block of wood in the other and clout the steel with the hammer whilst holding the block of wood on the outside. Do this repeatedly until the dent is more or less removed, Then get some putty and fill in the rest so it is nice and smooth. Finally, brush on some red lead paint to protect it and if you really think it's necessary spray it over with a can of the same color as the rest of the bodywork. You'll never know the difference.
get it fixed at a peugeot garage
go along to halfords they sell diy repair kits with instructions on how to use them, then get the old man to do it.
a garage will rip you off, or get dent masters in. good rates.
the dent man normally charges 50 for the 1st dent and then 10 each for any more.
