if you have lots of animals perhaps you could make wattle and daub the old fashioned way....
the most tried and true in american mfg. is made by miller.
hobart is the best i'v ever used
depends what type of metal ur using.. i dont' think it matters what purpose your welding for, it all comes down to the material used.
but sounds like u need a bit of mig & tig.
Why? you starting a zoo? try miller brand.
If it's heavy gage steel, use arc welding. If it's lighter, use TIG.
