I want to run my car on bio diesel. Does anyone have any advice or information they can offer me?

if u have a warranty it may be voided. if its not a concern.keep a few extra fuel filters with you. bio diesel will clean deposits out of your tank and fuel system and the first few full tanks will loosen these deposits and have the potential to clog filters.

Sure you Can fill it up with bio diesel and it will work just fine, just like any other diesel fuel, but the question is are you really up for the challenge of being bold to use such fuel, if the manufacturer's doesn't approve of it why go the hustle of doing so, I say if it isn't broken don't fix it.
well hear say states that a warmed up diesel can run easily on sunflower oil so the bio diesel would be great !
and if its all truble get a mix of the 2 and buy oil cleaners for diesel engins
i use oil enhancers and stuff works for me !
I just saw a show on Discovery channel about biodiesel. The show gave a good rating to biodiesel and showed the steps to make it. The guy on the show had a constant source of used grease from a restaurant fryer. He had to transport it to his home where, in his garage he had set up the equipment to convert the used oil to biodiesel. It was a large garage and it was full of equipment and tanks. He did not mention the cost of the equipment but it had to be expensive. It took quite a while for the process to complete and when he was done he had less than 50 gallons of fuel. He did say his car, an old import diesel, ran quite well on it and that the cost per gallon, minus the labor and initial equipment cost, was about 50 cents a gallon.
Michael is right, in Australia on an Island called Lord Howe, several vehicles are powered by a mix of diesel and used commercial oil - there is some work involved in the original setting up, though it seems to work well.
Only thing is every time you start up the car it stinks of fish and chips.
