Can i take aerosols (deodorant, body spray etc. ) in my suitcase on an aeroplane?

Answers:
You can put them in your suitcase but not your hand luggage.
i suppose you can but you may have a little trouble telling the people who scan the bags, because of the latest terrorist incidents people trying to take bombs on planes .

your best bet would be to put them in your checked luggage. I heard a guy say they wouldn't let him carry his asthma inhaler on a plane this past week. that is an aerosol type product.
Not a problem in your suitcase.but they may become a problem in the future.
im not sure if thats ok or not, most probably is since you cant have any hand luggage. could possibly be better to take a roll on though if u can just in case.

also someone else answered on here saying that a man wasnt allowed his inhaler, you are allowed medication if it is needed on the flight.
I travel a lot, and carry my luggage on whenever possible. I usually have a can of shaving cream and a container of hair spray, and I have not had any problem for the past several years. Just be aware that if the terror threat level increases, things like aerosols may be looked at more closely. Enjoy your trip!
Good question Angela,Ive always put them in my hand luggage because they are a pressurised container,i would have thought these are dangerous in the hold.In the present climate im not sure what theyre advising,im going away in 3 weeks and have bought roll on deodorants!
As I understand it, ANY items containing liquid of any form will NOT be allowed in the passenger cabin of the aircraft. This includes items such as toothpaste, liquid lip gloss, etc. These items are perfectly safe to go in the baggage hold of the airplane, as it is also pressurized the same as the passenger space.

C'mon guys.. Do you really NEED to have all that crap with you in the cabin of the airplane for a two-hour flight?
only if the suitcase is checked
In your suitcase that is checked through, not in a carry on bag
I have taken aerosols in my checked luggage, but you can not take things like lighter fuel or gas cartridges.

I too was stopped for taking asthma inhalers when I was travelling to the US. I was told I was only allowed to take my reliever and not my preventers on the plane as sprays could be used to over power the flight attendants. I argued that if my checked luggage was to go missing I would not be able to take my preventers and would end up in hospital. I eventually won my arguement.

Some people are just over zealous in their jobs. The secuirty checks are the norm in places like Washington DC we Brits just need to get used to it, I think there will be more and more to come.
