Does anyone know the going rate for an L reg astra 1.4i i want to sell mine n don't know what to ask for it

Ask £395 for it and be prepared to drop. Used cars are worth next to nothing these days. It even affects used cars that are only a couple of years old. The depreciation rate is horrendous, because supply of used cars outstrips demand.
Have a look at Parkers website and you can calculate its value there.

if it,s petrol you can pick them up for around 80/90, diesel about 150/160
200/300 . also go on ebay and type in your make and model and year and you will see what they are selling for on there to give you an idea
its worth about 300 but aim higher e.g 350
