What is the width of a lane on a motorway?

Answers:
Not wide enough for some people !!
9 feet, but some are 8, depends on the road.
The highways agency quote the standard lane width to be 3.65 metres, 11 feet.

Though some motorways are narrower than this
I think it might be 10 foot.
I'd say around 10feet
its suppused to be 2 and a half metres about 8 foot 2.
