Do traffic lights flash when taking pictures of cars as they go through red lights?
Answers:
Some do and some do not . Best advice DON'T drive through them on red.
Well, the traffic lights don't take the pictures, the camera equipment does. But, if you activate the red light runner camera, there will be a flash, but the flash comes from a flash unit no where near the traffic signal.
You cannot see the inferred flash the traffic lights operate normally. Busted!
The traffic light no, it would confuse the other drivers.
However there are camers that are attatched to the light that will flash as you go through the red
there is usually a flash box camera on the corner pointed into the intersection. When you break the cross walk scale on a red light, it will trigger the camera.
traffic lights don't take pictures its a camera thats up there by the traffic light
if there is a box above the lights that will be a camera. don,t jump any lights.
Are you feeling worried! something you want to tell us!
usually u cant becuase its infer red (or however u spell that) but there are always some kinds of lights there becuase those cameras cant see in the dark.lots of people in philly always get tickets in there mail from running throught reds.
no they dont but the light on a camera next to it may flash.
The camera lights that we have here in the Pacific Northwest don't flash -just the camera flash taking your picture.
Depends on what you mean exactly. There are some traffic light junctions where there are cameras situated behind the lights to catch any drivers doing one of 2 things. Either jumping red lights or of course, speeding. You would only find these cameras at usually busy junctions though, such as ring road roundabouts that are light controlled, or cross road junctions.
As far as I know, only on the planet Pluto, during the 'even' months.
Sash.
NO, well at least not all of them. If the traffic light syour going through have a (what looks like) Gatso camera close to it then it will flash. If there is no yellow box camera then there is no record.
hi no its not the actual traffic light itself that flashes and not all traffic lights have them but if they do usually there is a tall grey box at the side of the traffic light and that will be the object that flashes its exactly the same size as the normal yellow gatso speed camera but grey and at the side of the traffic lights if you do go through it yes it will flash twice once to record your speed and the 2nd flash to catch you passing through a red light hope this helps
yes you will see a flash
