Vauxhall Agila, what do you think ? are they good cars ?
Answers:
very good buy i hae driven vauxhall for many years and would not ghange
My mum's got one and she loves it! It's her favourite car/vehicle to date. It's the perfect combination of car and people carrier.
I've got a corsa, my family have almost always bought Vauxhall.
no street cred but good build quality and excellent value, go for the 1.2 engine if you can although the 1litre is okay
The Agila (and the identical Suzuki Wagon R) are both fine cars if you need something with enough headroom to allow you to drive while wearing a top hat, but lot of headroom they may have, they're not really my cup of tea, and I think generally speaking, there are better small cars about.
Yes, street cred is a problem with these cars, but the height also affects handling and can be awful on a motorway. I think a Toyota Yaris is a better all-round small car which is reasonably tall, but styled well so that it's not ungainly, or the Fiat Panda if you ant to spend a bit less.
If I haven't talked you out of buying one, they're probably a doddle to park, but of course, they will be a bit gutless on the open road if you do venture out of town at all. Oh, and don't forget to look at the Wagon R. Same car, different engine.
