Firstly Good Luck !
Here is the official website about driving tests in Ireland.
http://www.drivingtest.ie/drivingtest/ht.
It does say your parking will be tested but not how.
In the UK they can ask you to do a reverse bay park and or a parallel park. I think they are asked to test you on a certian number of manouvers. So not everyone gets asked about everything.
Like most things learning to drive is a two stage process.
1: Knowing how to do it.
2: Being able to do it.
I can tell you how to parallel park from a technical point of view but you will probably have to do it many times to get better.
I would advise you to get as much practice as possible. This will make a real difference.
test or no test you need to know how to parallel park so my advice is learn now.
i did my test in tallaght never asked to do but still would practice it you'll need it anyway!
Sod the driving test I think, learning to spell, and use grammer would be more important, how will you be able to interperate road signs with out it.
