How do you check the transmission fluid on a 1998 vauxhall omega 2.5 V6 automatic?

Answers:
I had one of those, the dipstick is towards the back of the engine on the passenger side. You can see its tail goes straight into the gearbox and mine said ATM on the top to identify it.
if it has a transmission dip stick u can use that - if it does not might not be serviceable so you will not be able to check it.

some manufactures have gone away from ability to read or add transmission fluid.

some use the transmission speed sensor to add fluid but im not advising on this method cause im not sure if that is the correct procedure on your vehicle. will need more information to say for certain.

good luck
if there is no dipstick, then it's a sealed transmission and there is nothing you can do but take it to the shop.
