Is it worth to convert to lpg?
Answers:
Not unless its cheap where you live and cheaper then conventional forms of heating your house and cooking your foods.
u mean car or house ? both are expensive
Yes it is worth it.. Just make sure you get the original kit with the tested cyclinder installed & it should be registered with the local RTO.. here in delhi this all costs around 18000 for a small car & belive me after that it is all smooth ride. LPG is cheap & is also more affordable then petrol. & the pickup is also better then CNG only a slight difference can be noted & no extra maintainance just make sure you always have the proper oil in your ngine..let me know if u require something else..
depends on what your converting, dont know about houses but cars, it depends on what vehicle you got, a big 4 x 4 costs around £2000 for a good conversion which is certificated and u can usually expect to get 30- 35 mpg
LPG is around half the price of petrol, you will need to do around 20000 to make it pay. There are also some real engine problems on conversion, burning pistons and lumpy running, having to start on petrol before you switch over. The Range Rover conversion is good but then that car only does 12-15 mpg so its easy to get your money back. If our beloved Chancellor imposes the same tax as on petrol, which is a possibility then all your calculations disappear
get a diesel car and most can run on veg oil, old or new, some need a £500 coversion, try and get one with a bosch fuel pump. 50p a lt and over 45mpg, cant be bad
