Do you think the route master buses should come back into operation in London?

I think that the route master buses were a London icon and should not have been taken off the roads. They maybe could have done with a bit of updating, and had they been, they would still be very serviceable today. The bendy buses look hideous on the London streets and they should be got rid off. Just London transport trying to maximise their profits I reckon that took the route master off the road.
Dunno. But I would like to drag Maggie T to this neck o' the woods and show her what her deregulation of the bus services has done.

Yes, if only on the principle "if it ain't bust don't fix it". They have worked well for many, many years and change for the sake of change (or to copy Europe) is not usually a good thing.
They still work routes 9H & 15H in central London, these routes are aimed at tourists but you can use Oyster Cards on them.
