Hi, Bio-diesel is a mix of old vegetable oil & diesel.
However before you put any of it in your car/van/truck etc, check with your manufacturer first, some of them(citroen/peugeot being some of them, recomend not to use it as they are designed to use minimal useage diesel on there HDi engines.
Hope this helps !!
See http://www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk/fuel.

In general, you'll need an older indirect-injected engine to run reliably for any length of time on 100% vegetable oil. Most modern engines are designed to run on a 5% mix (which is often called bio diesel, even though it is 95% normal fossil-fuel). Any more than 5% and you could cause problems (not damage, exactly, but things get gummed-up, requiring engine and fuel system strip-downs to clean them.
