I have to use gell insoles in my shoes to support my feet.Flying soon to America can I still go through x-ray
With having to put everything in hold luggage now.

unless your insoles are moulded from plastic explosive there will not be a problem
i hope so - its a valid point that you cus ask a check in person - i doubt they'll have a problem with it though
You will have to take your shoes off anyway to go through the x-rays. Insoles or no insoles. That will make no difference at all.
I don't know if they would check that or not. They may make you remove them and dispose of them for safety reasons. At least they are not expensive. I would remove them and put them in my checked luggage. then replace them after you get to your destination.

You can probably get to USA no problem, but when you leave, USA will make you take off your shoes and send them through x-ray.
Just let them examine them..they may remove the gel though..lots of people are in the same situation.what a terrible world we live in..

You are now required to remove and place in checked baggage in the US.
what ever they ask you to do, its for your safety and it gives you the satisfaction your about to board a comparatively safe plane if its a medical condition and you can prove it to security i guess they will co-operate to your satisfaction
