ABS out of control?
I have a Jeep. My abs kicks in even on normal braking. Anyone know what's wrong?It is constantly clicking and is so annoying. It started when I had new brake pads fitted but they checked them and said the pads are fine. Please help!

Speaking from experience what has happened is when fitting the pads a piece of rust has been dislodged and trapped itself on the stator ring, this ring circles the driveshaft right next the hub where the sensor picks up the passing turbulence of the moving ring, it seems to be sensing a similar condition to what it would receive if your wheel had locked. Get the garage to give the stator rings a blast with an airline. Oh one other thing, make them check they haven't bent the thing too !
have the shop recheck the ABS sensor wire(s) that they might of broken or disconnected when reinstalling the brake caliber(s)
just return it to the manufacture and sue thier a.s.s. off, you might get killed on the abs
sounds like your sensor is out. all cars have one on the back side of all your brakes

when changing pads on abs cars you have to be cearfull when pushing the piston back the garrage could have not this operation correctly & now nackerd the system
but first you will need to get it to an independant dealer get the abs checked before going on
ps the longer you leave it the worse it will get
