Vw golf 1.3 1990 the engine cuts out when turning right , what causes this problem.?
Answers:
hard turning may move the fuel away from the tank pickup, the carburetor float, or if electric fuel pump, the wire may have a bare spot and be shorting against the chassis . inspect your fuel path and systems to make sure they are clear of damage . and slow down .. lol
does it have power steering
Fuel pump, you need to over rev when turning right to keep the pressure up in the hydraulics. Get rid.it cant be fixed
Loose connection somewhere, possibly being broken as the engine tilts slightly in the turn due to centrifugal forces.
can you answer a question with a question?
could be broken motor mount causing harness connectors to separate. also could be clogged fuel filter starving engine for fuel, could be fuel pump filter sock being clogged.
All of the above, but also i guess could be a fault related to the power steering pump. I had this on another car before though and it took me ages to work out it was the ignition key switch, worn out and loose connection. Doh!
