Go to Evans cycles, online or in store. They're in cahoots with the Governments grant for new cycles idea. They also let you include accessories into the deal, so you can get your kit and snazzy add-ons paid for too! Your company might also be involved- ask Human Resources.
I cycle to work in the winter because it's too cold to ride a motorbike. It's great fun, especially if you get it discounted via other tax payers!

i know that where i live there is some sort of organisation that does somthing like that, but it very much depends on your age, i think it's up to about 25, you can find out more at connextions. xx
