What was your first car?

Mine was a 1962 metalflake copper Galaxy 500. It had hood pins and was jacked up in the back. I totally loved that car. My dad was forever fixing something that I tore up on it. When the transmission tore up (my fault), he said enough's enough. It was history.
1954 ford 2 dr for forty bucks.

My was a very battered Citreon AX and it lasted me forever, never broke down and was really nippy even though it was almost as old as me!
Although all the cars I've had since then have been newer and in better condition, none have been as reliable. Odd.

my first car was an early 80's fiat strada - didn't do well in the snow but it sure got great gas mileage - it was a small car and it's amazing how many teen agers can fit in it! it ran and ran and ran .
My first car was a 2002 BMW 330Ci I still own it but i jus bought it. The fist car ive ever driven was a Kia Sophia.
In 1969 i bought a red 66 GTO Blew up the trany and traded for a 67 ss 396 chevele.

A 1979 Oldsmobile Omega.I was in grade school when the thing was made. It had a sagging headliner and a dingy vinyl top. Grandpa gave it to me, so couldn't argue with free :). We called it the G-Ride!

I was lucky to be the proud owner of a 1989 Dodge Omni, i bought it for $100, we literally pulled it out of a farmer's field, it had weeds and moss growing on the roof! Well, i smashed it 1st snowstorm that winter! but, It was a stick shift, and $3 in gas could get me 1/4 tank.

I had an already ancient Rover 75. It was a big luxury heavy old bus. The really fun thing about it, was a very primitive freewheeling device which was a sort of early cruise control. There was a dial on the dash, which you turned furiously when you got to a cruising speed. This knob applied a counterweight to the flywheel. With no obstructions, you could go for miles at say 70mph, with the engine on tick over.
Mine was GOLF 3 GTI 1996 Model, ABS, AUTO Transmittion, 4doors, powered windows and mirrors, maintenance is relative to nothing absolutely ok, never let me down, always on the move.
