I think it's because square wheels make for a very bumpy ride. Even triangular wheels are better than square whelels, as they have one less bump.

If car wheels were triangular, the design of the wheel arches would be detrimental to the beauty of the car exterior. If car wheels were square, the ride would be extremely bumpy. So car wheels are round. Smooth ride, cool wheel arches.

Are they? Your joking! Mine are sort of flat at the bottom of the wheel. This could be the problem and that may be why I have such trouble driving! Lol

oh my god.are you kidding? Uhh probably because square won't roll, oval would wobble, so on and so forth. Any other shape just won't work.
