Where would you pick up a clunky old Morris Minor for dead cheap?

OK, I have, in past, helped to restore to perfect running order (although it looked like hell) a '63 Volkswagen Beetle. I really had a good time, though it was quite a lot of work (especially cleaning all the pine needles out of the bonnet).

I'd like to maybe start slowly restoring another car (given that I can find one I like), and I find the British Morris Minors quite charming. Where do I find one that won't cost me the world? Doesn't need to be good looking or running, but it helps. In Glasgow or surrounding area a plus!

Answers:
try the morris minors club, we rebuilt one four years ago and they are simple and relatively easy to fix as most of the body is bolt on, we paid £250 for it and through the morris minors club sold it for £3000, type in morris minors club in google, good luck
Oh man that was the 'yuppie' car of the late eighties and even the wrecks were going for top money - just for the parts but good luck and heck you never know
any scrap yard
i think you would find one in the scrapyard
Go to the newsagents and buy a copy of Practical Classics magazine, and have a leaf-through it. You'll find plenty of companies that specialise in Moggies of all conditions, and there are classified ads that you can sort-through as well.

Good luck to you in restoring a Moggie to health, they were lovely cars and I have fond memories of them, particulary the pickup versions, several of which which my father owned when he was in business. Sadly, when they ceased making them, he had to change to Japanese pickups trucks a la Mazda.

I wonder if any survived? WKN413, EKJ335C, RKE392G, EJG746C.
Morris Minors are so cute. I would buy one today if I could find one. We had a 1967 which was the last year that they imported them to US. We also has a 1961 out of Hawaii which we switched engines from one to the other. They have a web site and meets in the UK. Check Morris Minor on line through Google and whatever. Good Luck.
