I live and work abroad and require a British international licence. How do I get it without a UK address?
Answers:
If you log on to www.dvla.gov.uk you will find all the relevant information and conditions on applying for a British issued international license.
Please be specific; do you need a license to operate a motor vehicle in Britain as a foreigner or are you a British National who requires a license to drive in a country other than Britain? In that case, the answer depends on which country you are planning to drive in. Visitors to Britain may drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and with up to eight passenger seats, provided your full licence or driving permit remains valid for up to 12 months from the date of coming to GB. However, you may only drive large vehicles which have been registered outside GB and which you have driven into the country.
Dont know but let me know when you do as I need one too
