What mpv/4x4 for camping?

I would like to know what would be the best used mpv/4x4 etc for good storage for a tent etc 2 adults 2 children 1 dog.am looking for under £1500.must be cheap to insure and service but roomy.

Look for a Renault Espace or an early Ford Galaxy/VW Sharan.

Off-roader-iwse, look at an older Land Rover Discovery, or a Toyota Land Cruiser or Mitsubishi Shogun from the same era if you want reliability.

Really cheap on insurance and servicing (if you do it yourself, service pack for my 4L petrol V8 was only 20 quid!)
Hubby has just bought a deisel Discovery on an N plate for £1500.
My 2 Weimaraners quite happily travel in the back and i can get all my horse riding bits and pieces in no problem.
