Answers:
on ebay do a search for "transmitter"
there is a place in hong kong that sells them they look like a cig lighter and just plug in then they transmit to radio at about the 107 mark i have 4 they all work perfik and usually cost 1 p and £5 p&p
You can get an itrip of ebay. Make sure you get the right one though as they are different dependant on what ipod you have. You can't buy them in the UK which is why you have to get them from ebay. Mine was about £15 though that was a year ago.
With a magnet
My friend had a tape which you put in your tape player and a wire comes out to your ipod, she got it from tesco i think. No idea how it works though.
buy an ITRIP, you can get them everywhere now, it's a short range FM transmitter that plugs into the bottom of your ipod and really easily tunes into your radio- very easy, very good!!
i got an fm transmitter off ebay for 99 p plug it into the earphone jack and it picks up on the radio
Buy a new style Lexus IS like mine
You can plug you iPod straight into the dash board.
The IS starts at £23,000
The iTrip answers here are right, but just to make sure you are not missing the obvious, a small number of newer cars now have a "Aux" jack somewhere on the facia that you can simply plug your iPod into like a set of headphones (e.g. The Honda Jazz it is down by the cigarette lighter).
what kind of cd player you have what brand ? what vehicle ?
Best bet is to buy a new BMW 1 series they come with a plug and play system, failing that use the a website called Kellkoo to find the most reasonable price from online electrical retailers. Or just pop down Dixons or Currys.
there is two ways: if you have a tape deck you can get a Cassette Player Adapter. if you have only a cd player then you can buy a RadioPlay FM Transmitter you can connect to your cig lighter.you can get both of these items at radio shack.
Here's a link for the cheapest solution: http://www.amazon.co.uk/sony-cp-a9-car-a.
She asked what`s the cheapest way to connect an ipod to a car stereo and someone said buy a BMW 1 series. Yeah, that`s well the cheapest way Dude. lol
Double sided sticky tape should do the job or velcro then you can move it about to suit your mood
just get a f m transmitter
buy an itrip off eBay it will be the cheapest way. if not i am sure i have seen a different version of the tape with the wire coming out of it. but instead of a tape it was a CD. well you can get a wire from the CD unit anyway but it does mean you can't use you CD player anymore.
