Transmission fault/seizure in Saab 900S automatic.?

Any ideas as to why this might happen? My car seized at 70mph the other day. Apparently it "stalled". All power went. Is this an electrical fault with the automatic transmission? How is it fixed?

Answers:
Does the engine run ok in neutral?? If so engine is fine.
Does the car drive at all ? Have you checked the auto transmission fluid?? If this is low your car will not move! check it top it up if seems ok park up with cardboard below gearbox for a night and see if there is any leak in the morning, this could be the problem, and is well worth checking before you waste money at the garage If it isn't any of the above find a warranted used gearbox. Repair will cost the earth.
