Hi, Does anyone know how you get the battery out of a renault clio 1.4 p reg, wont budge at all?Thanx!?
Answers:
There's a clamp at the bottom of the battery. You'll need to search using a torch. It's easiest to undo it using a socket spanner with an extension piece. If you haven't got one, an open-ended spanner will do - just takes a long time.
be sure to disconnect all connections and then use a big rubber mallet. Its prob just stuck on with all kinds of crap
why wont it budge is it rusted? are there screws attached?
did they stick the thing down with sticky tabs?
add details pls..
crow bar?
there is probably a clamp, a bolt down near the bottom of the battery ,on one side or the other. spray the bolt with wd40 or some other type of spray lube.you will have to use a socket wrench with a long extension to reach the bolt. never use heat,a torch, around a battery as the can explode when exposed to heat.
good luck
Look down along the long side of the battery there at the bottom inthe battery tray in the acid should be a bolt and metal clamp holding in the Cilo's box of electrons (Battery)
