Can I trace someones name and address just by using there car registration number in the U.K?
Answers:
You bet, Tescos tracked me from my plate just because I parked in their car park for over 2 hours!!
yeah but i think you have to be the police.
the DVLA have that info but wouldn't give it out
Only a cop with a valid reason can do that.
Yes you can but it will cost you about £35 with a car data check you know one of them things you get when you buy a new car but i think you might need the make and model of the car too
YES YOU CAN! The DVLA hold details of all UK registered vehicles, DVLA hold data such as Veh, Make, Model, Registered Owner, Address , Engine Number, Chasis number. Police hold the other part of the file on a system called PNC (police national computer) which holds markers - I.E Stolen / Scrapped / Found / Removed / Information markers . Only police can View the full file, DVLA obviously have access to their own information and will Cost you £30-£40 per data request to the DVLA disclosures department.
