Light Blue. You can use Smoothrite, which is the smooth version of Hammerite. I've had my calipers painted with this for years, and it's good.
Caliper bodies don't actually get that hot, it's brake drums that require high-temperature paint, but with a T5, you won't have brake drums.
My ST220 is radiant red, and the calipers are Smoothrite red. The entire car is based around two colours, red and black. Even my alloys are high-gloss black.boring, but true.
red
bright orange
Black or silver look rich.
I agree - red
Purple should do it for you!
Blue, as it's the best colour in the world.
All the others are cheap imitations.
red callipers on a nicely looked after car is a very sexy look IMHO
you wear calipers? you shouldnt paint them, leave them alone, they belong to the NHS
chrome is the best colour for your callipers
a nice lovely red would do the trick very nicely :)
A bright yellow or red looks really nice or for a different look what about a deep blue??
try yahoo green its a lovely colour
If you want it to look coordinated - white
If you want contrast - red
If you want it to look solid - black
If you want silly - yellow
Pretty much any other color would just look random against the white of your car.
make it red ..
Red is the answer
PINK!
Just stick to the colour the new calipers come in.
New drilled and vented discs will make the calipers look old, because they are, old and probably rusty, so if you are going to drive hard get new calipers.
If not rust is the best finish, it is rough, increasing the surface area and thus heat dissipation, Thick white paint is the worst as it will harm heat dissipation.
Me I worry about these things, I had brake fade coming down the Pass of the Cattle near Applecross, top lefthand corner of Scotland, like pedal to floor, 20 pumps and it came back then kept going pumping all the time and pedal came back to normal after 5 minutes but I could have died if I hadn't known what to do and pumped furiously.
red or chrome or lime green just to be different
I prefer being subtle, so I would say paint them white to match the car.
