What is a good mileage for a bmw 6or 5 series (1999) if i want to buy one second hand?
Answers:
Average mileage is around 10,000 per year, perhaps for BMW 5 or 6 series a bit less due to high running costs and petrol usage. I would say for 1999 less than 60,000 good 60,000 to 80,000 about average, over 90,000 getting on the high side. Hope this helps
Basically work on an average of 10,000 per annum. Anything over that is too high. Also look for signs of clock tampering such as the numbers not sitting in a straight line.
10-12,000 miles a year is a good figure to compare with so a '99 with less than 84,000 should be good
10,000 per year..normally.but these cars will do thousands of miles in a lifetime..i had a 5 series that had 190,000 on the clock when i sold it.
depends if its one owner etc averaging 12000 miles per year probibly 85-90000
Anything under 75k miles would be below average
around 60,000 is good below is excellent and slightly higher is alright higher then 80,000 is bad
The mileage on a BMW is not the only or most important issue, its the service history, , I would buy any 5 with less than 100K if they have an implacable service history, and no accident damage
