Need to transport a 10' X 8' shed.?

What size van do I need to get to take a 10' X 8' panel (the floor). Will a Luton van do or flat bed etc? I would prefer to lay all the panels flat for transport. I only have a standard driving license, so no HGV's.

Answers:
Luton will do nicely
car driving licence is all you need
happy shedding

ps i love my shed
try a transit size pick-up,
Go to Uhaul and see what they got.
I would suggest you would be best using a trailer which can be hired if you don't know anybody who owns one. I once transported a set of patio doors for somebody using my horse trailer which was perfect for the job! We just lashed the doors to the centre partition. Your 10' x 8' panels would be similar to transport as the patio doors. I feel that a van would make the job more difficult than is totally necessary.
You could hire a 7 1/2 ton pickup sized vehicle which you could drive on an ordinary licence, unless you only passed your test in the last few years. If your licence does not cover 7 1/2 ton you may find a friend who has to drive it for you.
I'm pretty sure you won't be able to hire a van or lorry which can (safely/legally) carry an 8' wide load. There must be some tall vans which could cope, though. Check out your local van hire centre.
If it's not going very far it might be cheaper to hire someone to do it for you than hiring a van for a whole day.
I was going to suggest a trailer, but the lady from drum already did.
My 10x8 shed arrived in a box on a double width pallet! It was a solid shed but obviously packed into a small space by people who do it every day.

If you are buying the shed new or know where the previous owner bought it from look it up on the net. My 10 x 7 has quite a low doorway and sides but is quite tall in the centre.

This meant that the wall panels were surprisingly small. The largest pieces were the floor panels and you will probably have 3 of them at 3 foot 6" long that run the width of the shed (8foot)

I would be very surprised if they split the floor panels into half-width pieces as the strenght shed relies heavily on the floor.
