Are there any decent tools around to get dents out of car bodywork?
Answers:
Yes its called a slide hammer , but it means drilling a small hole in the centre of the dent and having to repair it afterwards , better to fill it
A sink plunger
Don't know, but i could do with something myself, i have tried a suction cup but it wasn't strong enough.
They work, if you drill a hole and pull it out, but you still need bondo and sanders. Takes to long to do yourself, find a cheap bodyshop, if there are any left.

yes there are but having the skill to use them is the problem..there long metal rods with different tips for different dents but can take years to master.. best bet is to get onto a company like chips away who do mobile repair they can repair the dent perfect!!!not that expensive either
Some dent removal tools use suction as the applied force but are not very reliable on round edges and corners. They are for flat area's of the car body.
There are dent removal "kits" available: These also use suction and glue to "pop out" a dent.
There are several ways body shops remove dents ranging from the above mentioned. Using a punch from the inside of the vehicle, using a puller etc. They also have dent removal systems that use heat and cold.
An old trick is using dry ice to "freeze" the metal and draw the dent out but this is dangerous as you can get freeze burned easily!

If it's small a "ding king" should suffice
