Are royal mail vans manufactured to less of a quality than there standard counterparts?

Answers:
No. Royal Mail wouldn't accept lower quality.
And building vehicles to different quality standards in one factory would be nearly impossible.

However they are manufactured to Royal Mail's specification - which may mean less equipment than standard (for example, in the 1980s they had Metro vans with no passenger seat). The difference in cost by deleting items makes a huge difference on such a large fleet.
Have you seen the 40ft juggernaut they are not inferior. All royal mail vans are on lease so they will be of a proper standard and serviced regularly
What planet are you on?
Have you seen the mess they made of "Postman Pat"?
