I have a 2002 clk 320 for sale but Know one calls its been 3 weeks i placed ads but no reply, what can i do?
Answers:
burn it and get the insurance ;)
simple.. reduce the price. doh!
u tried ebay?
where exactly have you tried to sell it?
just try somewhere different
the add will then go to different ppl
reduce the price, take it to a mercedes dealer and see what they will buy it for
It could be you are overpriced or advertising in the wrong places. Try a magazine that caterers to people who would be interested in a clk320 and check out what the going price is for a used model.
depends on price, advert and where advertised, try ebay it has a bigger audience than a local paper, or a popular motoring magazine,or autotrader online.
You are talking about a Mercedes CLK 320 a nice 2 door coupe. Are you advertising it where the right type of buyer can be reached? Is it priced at a reasonable price?

Many people that are inexperienced believe the prices published in books. These are average prices taken from all situations and do not represent a cars real value. I'd say your probably asking too much. remember most people buying a Mercedes know they are not reliable any more so are reluctant to buy one unless they have a very good warranty dispite the fact they are good to drive.
in order to sell a Mercedes privately today you need to make it VERY appealing, that means a cheap price so people that would normally be looking at Fiat, Vauxhall etc can consider it, otherwise you could be stuck with it.
Sorry to be so negative but with the problems Mercedes offer today and the competition they face they are not a very appealing used car choice.
Is it a good price? or a bag of s****t
try advertising on classified ads , posters anything thats inexspensive. visit http://freewebs.com/freebebees/. for more ideas mate better still place an ad in the auto trader! i think they got a website.
It really does come down to asking the right price. Price guides like wisebuyers.co.uk can give you an indication but you need to do some research in your area and see what similiar cars are going for. From experience if it's the right price it does sell if you are asking a bit too much you could be stuck for a while.
