my 97 model peugoet 406 2.1 td ( the one with the drive -by-wire throttle system ) sometimes will not rev for a few seconds . it can happen when im at tick over or when im driving but its like taking your foot off cos the engine returns to tick over and will not rev up for about 2 - 3 seconds . when this happens it doesnt smoke , run roughly or the engine managment light doesnt come on . it is a bit dangerous when you are overtaking and suddenly without warning the car loses power . i have checked all the wiring and sensors and they are fine . can anybody who knows peugeots or has got the same car help me ?
thanks
