The codes are unique and if you put the wrong number in a certain amount of times it's like your bank card - it locks up and you can't use it. DON'T try entering random or even sequential numbers into it. Get in touch with the radio manufacturer (replacement radio) / dealer of the car it's fitted to (orig radio). They will be able to get hold of the code you need. Failing that, look in the free ads papers, there are always places that will unlock radio codes for around £10-15.

If your radio is original to the car you can take it to any dealership that sells your brand of vehicle and they will unlock it for you FREE OF CHARGE! Although they will not give you the code. As far as the random codes given to you thus far DONT USE THEM! If you input an invalid code more than 3 times on most vehicles the radio will be locked indefinately and you will have to go to the dealship or purchase a new radio. Just go into the service dept in the dealership and tell them your problem, they'll take care of it free of charge. Hope this helps.
