Digital Tachographs fitted to new lgv ,what does the driver have to do?
Answers:
The driver must have a driver card (same size as a credit card with a micro chip built into it),this has to be inserted into the digital tacho when you start driving, all the information: time, distance, speed, hours driven, length of rest breaks etc are stored on the card and you get a print out at the end of your working day,the information has to be downloaded via a card reader periodically and saved on computer.
D R I V E i should have thought, no seriously, its all done automatically, the ultimate spy in the cab, next they will be fitting camera's in front to see how your driving.
