Citroen xsara Picasso owners, can you help please?

The indicators and wipers are powered from a bcu (body control unit) which is a computer, like all computers this can crash, the way to reset this is to disconnect the battery negative lead for 10 mins, reconnect and try again. The fact the screen is saying battery charge fault may be a one off or u may have a faulty alternator / battery, when the voltage is low it will cause the bcu to malfunction. Once the battery / charging fault is sorted the indicators / wipers will be fine, but for now try disconnecting the battery, this should reset the car.
Battery is probably completely flat, try a jump start and then maybe just a new battery at around £50
Also sounds to me like flat battery. Charge battery or 'jump-start'. When battery fully re-charged should be OK.
You said "Started Car" - Does this mean that you actually managed to start the car, or just turned the key in the ignition?
If the former, then your battery is not flat and it sounds like you have a problem with your fuses / wiring loom. If you have details of which appliances run off of which fuses, see if the is some commonality between what does not work and the fuse.
The other thing to check, is the earthing contacts.
If it is the battery give us a call on 01492 512085. We deliver next day.
