Why do tractors only come in 3 colours?

Answers:
Ha. I know what you mean, but it's not strictly true. Mine, for example, is metallic gold with and orange star on the cab door. Valtra tractors now come in any colour you choose. (See link for their press release.)

Don't know what you're talking about! I've seen tractors in this country in a whole range of different colours.
they don't. Massey Furguson is Red, David Brown is a beigy colour, John deere is green, ford is blue, need i go on?
Countryside guideline association rules state that no agricultural vehicles can legally be colored in any way that disrupts the local natural environment. However nobody listens to this anyway.
green has been john deere's color since the start, yellow is painted on tractors usually that are used for road work, and red and blue are the colors of 2 other major companies, BUT kubota makes an orange tractor. i just think that farmers dont really need any other color such as pink or black because it will get dirty
I've not noticed it - but you could be right. I used to like tractors, but I have gone off them recently. I am an extractor fan!!
Because everyone figures that you can't look cool in them anyway so why bother with aesthetics. Why would anyone care about what color their tractor was?
They're Tractors..not sports cars
It costs any company time and money to paint their products different colours.

In Europe most delivery vans are white, with other colours available at extra cost, as white is the most suitable colour for companies to apply their own logos, lettering etc. to.

Cars come in a variety of colours because the manufacturer needs to provide a choice of colours to persuade the customer to buy.

Tractors are bought for their technical abilities, not their appearance, style, etc. Nor is there much of a requirement for companies buying tractors to apply their logos or colour scheme to them. Therefore most companies produce in only one colour.
Over the years many companies have made one colour their trademark (blue for Ford, red for Massey-Ferguson, green for John Deere, beige for Marshall, etc.).
You don't get out to the country much do you? Red =international or ford . Blue is for a russian tractor that's been imported here. Green and yellow for various makes John Deere being most famous. orange I can't remember who makes it. White =international harvester. So you see you can just pick a color other than pink. You'll have to do that one yourself.
