What can i expct on my practical driving test?
Answers:
Make sure your car is in good condition before you start. You need to show both parts of your licence when the examiner arrives. First you will be asked to read a number plate from a set distance to check your eyesight. Then you will be given one 'show me' and one 'tell me' question to answer. A full list, with model answers is available from the DVLA website - follow this link: http://direct.gov.uk/motoring/learnerand.
(if it works!) then click on 'download vehicle safety questions', or just look on the DVLA website. The test lasts half an hour, you will be expected to do two of the following:
reverse round a corner
reverse parallel park
turn in the road
Depending on where you live, you may be asked to do a bay park. Some examiners might ask you to do an emergency stop, but most don't like getting whiplash! Other than that, you will be expected to demonstrate basic driving ability - junctions, different classes of road, awareness of other cars, etc.
Even if you think you've failed, don't give up - it's probably not as bad as you think!
be afraid.very afraid
a bloody nightmare!!
I beleive there's only a choice of about 10 questions they can ask you in your practical, you should ask your instructor for a list of these
They will ask to read a number plate
And basically tell you - turn right at end of road, take next left, right at roundabout etc.
it sucks. backwards perpendicular parking, parallel parking, driving on the freeway, at least in michigan this is how it goes. lucky for me my driving instructor was a women. she was so hot, she had her miniskirt down low so i could see her thong and she was in a sports bra, she didnt even care what i did, i think she was masturb*ting secretly.
They'll want a demonstration of skills. Don't take a limo to take the test in and be prepared to parallel park. The rest is elementary if you listen carefully and follow instructions. I have a sure fire hint for knowing when to turn in and straighten up the wheel while parallel parking .. so if this is a problem area for you feel free to email & I'll respond.
the very first thing you will be asked is for ur driving license make sure you take both parts and not just the photocard! then you will be taken out by the examiner and asked to read a number plate of a car that is a distance away make sure you can do this! ask ur instructor to test u! then they will ask you three questions about the car on my test i was asked 1) how do you check all your lights are working?(dont forget about the indicators!) 2) where abouts the oil goes in the car? and 3) how do you check the water level in your car? a word to help you feel better you cant be failed on these questions if you get them wrong and if you dont know the answer you can say 'I would refer to the cars handbook and follow instruction from there' they cant say anything against you for that! then you will get in the car and the examiner will explain what they want you to do from there! just follow his instruction! you will be asked to perform 2 menouvers eg turn in the road, reverse round a corner, park between 2 cars, reverse bay park etc and you may also be asked to do an emergency stop.
Good luck any way im sure u wont need it tho if i can pass my driving test any1 can lol!
(this is for a uk test anyway)
1 show me tell me question i.e show me where the indicator lights are and how you know they are working. 1 tell me i.e. how do you check pressure on tyres. you read a number plate and possibly show under the bonnet where oil, water, brake fluid goes. it's not as scary as you think. Good luck
