What do you think to Ryanair suing?
Answers:
Ryanair are typical of most airlines, they are putting money before safety again,I wonder how much they would have sued for if one of their aircraft had been blown from the sky?.most of the passengers affected by delays accept this as part of increased security .O.K., a rich airline owner loses a few quid, but the passengers are safe, this case should be laughed out of court!
Well don't read about it.
I think this is a cheap publicity stunt by Ryanair
I wish I could have sued Ryanair when they lost my luggage on Xmas eve 2004.
Ryanair's out for all it can get
I agree with you, it really naffs me off that they restrict luggage to 20kg, then charge about £5 per extra kg. It's usually no problem in the summer, but in the winter its a right PITA!
While I enjoy taking advantage of their low air fares, this side of their service is really sneaky. It's not like they can't carry the luggage, they just want you to pay for the privilege.
The government is doing what it can to ensure that no one else gets killed in terrorist acts, I'd rather be safe than sorry, and if that means not carrying on luggage or taking longer at check in, I'm all for it. OK it is annoying while you are queueing up, but lets face it, would you rather be dead, or 'waste' a couple of hours of your life?
As far as suing goes, it's pathetic, I think it is more of a publicity stunt than anything else. It would be a total travesty if they won!
They want their bumps felt. I don't think I will ever travel with Ryan air again, they do not seem to care about passenger safety, that should be their first priority.
i think its absolutely disgusting have we now become such a selfish society that companies put their own profits before the safety of their passengers. personally i think the case should just be thrown out of the court. Ryanair think of it like this there are psychos out there who are killing the innocent in the name of a so called God and all you are concerned about are your profits. grow up dudes.
The words: "Flogging" >> "horse" >> "dead" >> and "a" spring to mind, but he deserves a medal for even thinking it'll get him anywhere!
he is only worried about how much money he will lose, not about the safety of his passengers. i will not travel with ryanair anymore.
I am flying with RyanAir tomorrow, and I have been charged £5 for each piece of luggage checked in. So not only can't you take carry-on luggage, but you have to pay fot it to go in the hold. What are RyanAir complaining about??
Ryanair get on my T*** what do they think the restrictions were brought about for, or hasn't anyone told them, and anyway try sueing them for anything genuine and you wont get too far. Get real Ryanair we all had to endure the inconvenience, am I pleased I don't have to fly with you. And why is everyone always wanting to sue, its almost as bad here now as it is in USA . Anyway I hope your action for compensation gets thrown out, its purely greed
They are having a laugh mate.
Should be called ponyair
It is nothing but Ryanair seeking cheap publicity, and also because their turnaround times are dangerously short.
i dont agree with a culture of indiscriminate suing either but i think that it should be fair to sue someone if you believe that you should and want to make a point. ok ppl are saying (1) their point is to get publicity and (2) they already get the extra fees back from their customers. well tell me which airline or come to that any international business does not want publicity or pass on its costs to its customers?
i've never travelled on ryanair nor do i work for them but perhaps they are making a stand that no other airline is and i would be interested in knowing more about the reasons they give than just jump on this slating bandwagon.
i do like the fact that ryaniair offers otherwise cut price travel and when it comes to them not having a regard for passengers safety i have seen that type of attitude on quite a few of teh different airlines i've flown with. if not for the passengers themselves, have you seen theway they hurl your luggage across the tarmac??!! maybe ryanair do this too but that just makes them the same as teh others not worse.
i used to work at manchester airport and every flight has a quick turn-around but i have seen ryanair aircraft exceed the speed limit numerous times and the airfield marshallers have boarded the aircraft and have bolloked the captain.
all they seem to care about is money and this is just free advertising for them
