I have a car radio which doesn't show what make it is.?

I wondered if anyone knew where i could locate the make with the seriel number. I need this so i can obtain the unlocking code. many thanks

Answers:
Take the top off the radio and the make, model #, serial # and maybe the code or information for getting the code will be there. Good luck. :) Oh, if you know where the radio came from, call them and ask for information on it.
If it is a factory oem system, you go to a dealer, show proof of ownership, pay $20 and they unlock it for you.
you can borrow my axe to scare it into talking
If the stereo is factory fitted ie if it looks like the original then you could try the local dealership for that type of car. The older the car, the older the salesman you should aim for.
If it is not factory fitted then, presuming you have already pulled it out and looked, I would approach a local car audio type shop and ask there.

Sorry its not a website but you cant beat the old face to face occassionally. Good Luck
