Better insurance for women drivers, why?
Answers:
AS a male driver I hate to say this, they are better safer drivers.
Your generalizations have nothing to do with reality. The reality of it, dear one, is that women drivers do not take the risks male drivers take. Plain and simple. And, just for your information, we live longer.now ain't THAT a booger! smiling.
For some reason the insurance industry thinks they are better drivers, based upon the fact that they mature quicker. I have not found this to be the case.
They have fewer accidents than men.
because statistically, women are better drivers.
you cant claim the majority of women are bad drivers because you could not have possibly even witnessed the majority driving thats like 100 million drivers. but i can say here in juneau alaska where there is no road out you see the same cars and drivers alot and i agree if i am behind a car whose speed fluxtuates for no reason, who cant decide on a lane, who dont even realize they are tailgating, i find a place to pass them and 100% of the times that i say aloud"thats a woman driver" it is. but heres the reason women get cheaper insurance. woman will hit a car at 5 mph in a parking lot, they will do it repeatedly because they cant learn and dont know any better. man will crash off the road pushing 150 mph. just because it happens 10X as often when woman wreck it costs less. usually just new bumpers and new paint for the fire hydrant that jumped out in front of her
so in final woman arent less safe or more safe. they make stupid mistakes like hitting things that dont move, if it dont move they can hit and run, therefore its not reported.
I once worked for a guy who said "women might have less accidents but how many men crash trying to avoid them" !
I drive 1000 miles per week and I have to say the standard of male driving is pretty bad as well.
One thing I will say is there are a lot of 50mph female drivers about who Criticise men driving faster, but they do 50mph on the motorway,in the 40mph zone the 30mph zone,on wet roads,on icy roads or if it is snowing - but would never do 60 or 70 mph !
However I would have to say that young male drivers are the worst on our roads if I had to pick one group as the worst !
This is a debate which will be controversial for all time, or at least until Men learn to deal with their fragile egos!
Truth is, the most dangerous drivers are young men who have a 'super hot car'(usually a wreck made pretty) that has the loudest stereo and exhaust so that all the girls are looking and longing to get in and drive with him.
Their mission in life is to push as many other cars off the road as they can, and grab a gap when ever possible, at no matter what cost. Anyone slower than them deserves to be tailgated and tooted and sworn at. Being courteous is for little old ladies.
These are the people who really own the road and the rest of us users are only there to get into their way and slow them down.
Don't see many woman drivers as safe as that now, Do we?
i don't drive but i do thing its unfair on men that they pay more insurance its also unfair how younger drivers are over charged its sexist and ageist i think it should go on how long you have been driving and how few accidents you have if i learnt to drive apart from warning every one on here to steer clear of the roads lol i wouldn't feel bad about having to pay higher insurance due to my lack of experience
Sounds like sour grapes to me!!
Seriously, insurance companies pay out more for men drivers in claims than they do for women drivers. That's why men pay more for car insurance. Men die younger than women, that's why men pay more for life insurance.
Boy Racers
Men are more likely to have a vehicle written off than women
women hav more low speed accidents than men
tend to pass their tests later in life than men
and generally clock less miles than men
so this results in lower cost accidents
lower ratio of accidents
and most men pay for their female partners accidents with cash to keep the premiums down
sexism at its best how many men only insurance companies out there none that i hav ever seen
i think its because they is more male driver on the roads than women its got to balance out eventually now women are allowed to learn more.
oh yes sure why not
