Why do people insist on playing music on their mobile phone through the loud speaker?

its because the chavy scum have no one to think about but themselves apparently, they dont care about others around them and just do what they want when they want. i dont want to be listening to the crap they listen to and neither do the elderly people on the bus who just want a quiet journey home, like i said they just have no consideration for anyone else. the next time i hear a chav listening to music loudly im gonna shove it up thier ****!

I believe it may be that they have been given very clear indication by various health experts that listening to music through earphones can have a very severe detrimental effect on the brain.

More than likely just to let you know they have an embarrassingly poor taste in music, made worse by cheap tinny sounding speakers
well, its better than using a headset and plug them into your ears, you could have an ear infection. And besides its just their way of relaxing and expressing themselves.
oh my god i totally undertsand what you are saying it drives me mad, every single day ont he tram i have to listen to rude boys blasting out crappy rap music bouncing there head, i just dont know how they can think they actually look good!?! it really annoys me they look so pathetic, not cool in the slightest, and above all it is annoying first thing in the morning!! yes we all have different interest but it should be rubbed in the face of others.
