How do I work out which cd systems will compatible with my car?

It's an 8 year old Renault Megan.

Answers:
Just don't buy a Kenwood; they are total crap.
Most head units on sale will work in any car. The only catch is the shape of your unit in the Megane - you may need a fascia adaptor to make it fit. Halfords'll tell u.
If it is fitted already with a standard size stereo then there are cables you can buy that will convert your existing radio connection plug to whatever brand you replace it with, Halfords carry stocks of these is i have purchased them for myself from time to time, i don't know if you are just wanting to replace the head unit ( main stereo ) or just add a CD multi changer if you have inputs on your existing car stereo for one of them, if you have an oversize stereo already fitted you can by blanking plates from Renault to revert it back to a standard size, hope this is of some help
First find out whether it's a single Din or double Din, then, as someone else typed, buy the appropriate face plate.
any1 will work you just got wire it up
Google Ray Smith Audio and goto that web address. Use the link to email them and they always reply.
