What is the current state of the Leeds Transport System?
Answers:
It's a total chaotic nightmare, public service? my ar*e!! they couldn't run a tap these bunch of amateurs.
a bloody shambles
The train station is quite good as it has some decent stores and the platforms were recently improved.
Busses are cheap and plentiful.
Taxis are easily found but are not cheap.
Many areas have cycle lanes.
The city centre has a one way system but traffic is still slow at rush hour.
The roads are mostly in good condition.
Carparks are resonably priced and easy to find.
Traffic wardens are about average for Britain.
I think the drivers are all at home, sleeping.
Well, To be honest the public transport system might not be the best ever but it's not bad.
The train station is alright, the trains are generally on time. There's a bus to every street you might ever want to go every ten minutes, there's a taxi on every other corner but it will definately take you 2 hours to get anywhere you want to go.
That's about 6 hours less than it will in your car.
JOY!
My advice: Walk.
