How do i remove cd player from my 2005 05 reg landrover freelander?

I need to remove my cd player from my freelander it is the large type I can not see any way to remove it their are no holes in the unit for a removal tool like the ones you get in the shops. The radio / cd player is the factory fitted one that came with the car. Can you help please?

Every unit I've ever removed I've had to unscrew the dash and take it off. There's often a conversion kit around the actual stereo and mine have always been screwed in behind that. look around your dash for any screws. I got a cool little screwdriver thingy that is at a right angle and very small and it like a socket, so I don't have to keep turning and turning. good luck. if you still can't find out, you can always call a stereo shop and I've always found them very helpful. hehe, I had to actually alter my conversion kit on one car, but i did it!!
Find a rough area, park your car up with the window open for about 10 minutes and hey presto - job done.
It`s probably got the BMW type CD player.. If you`re sure there are no holes then try pullin the Volume Knob off (Seriously) and behind there, there should be a tiny flat headed screw you turn 90 degrees to remove the unit..
