Just bought one so I can listen to my iPod in the car. When I hook it up I have to turn the volume on the car stereo up to max as the music comes through so quietly; this creates a loud hiss through the speakers and I still can barely hear the music. Any suggestions?

turn the volume up on ur iPOD.. if that doesn't work, then try an FM transmitter device (monster makes it too) or an aux adaptor which is the cleanest best way to go..
